Firebreak and Slashing Contractors
Fire prevention measures throughout the ³Ô¹ÏÍø including slashing/mowing of vacant blocks and creating firebreaks on all properties must be completed by 4 October and maintained throughout until 1 May. Check your Annual Fire Hazard Information Booklet for the exact date.

The engagement of a contractor is an agreement between the landowner and the contractor. Landowners are advised to consider whether a contractor has appropriate qualifications, competence and insurance applicable to the nature of the work.
